I am the treasurer of the Wits wood workers association and the organisation banks with Nedbank. I went in to the branch on the 23rd of February to link the investment account to the current and savings account and was told that the other signatory must be with me in order to do this. I suggested that I do what I need to do and the other signatory can come in at his convenience and do the same but that was unacceptable. Nedbank could learn something from Standard Bank. The second signatory then went with me on the 2nd of March and it turns out that no one at the branch knows how to link the investment account to the other accounts. So they asked me to sign all the documents and took my phone number and said that the person that can link the accounts will contact me on Monday the 4th. I said to the service advisor, that I do not believe that anyone will contact me and she assured me that they will. Today is the 12th of march and the accounts still have not been linked and I am still waiting for someone to contact me. If this had of been Standard Bank I could have done the whole thing on line I am glad my personal accounts are not with Nedbank.
