I have been with Capitec for almost 6 years. My account was hacked and monies withdrawn. Because the money was drawn by the they can not refund me? So all the Capitec bank users beware your money is NOT SAFE with Capitec. They have no insurances in place for these matters. They did not want me to go to the police as they would do their own investigation. I am still nowhere and have now gone to open an investigation with the police. I was told I will not get my monies back... thanks Capitec... wonderful... my whole family and many friends and colleagues bank with you... not for much longer...
