I made an online enquiry about insurance - received a call that very evening and had everything explained to me perfectly. The call-centre agent was knowledgeable and very helpful however, maybe a little too enthusiastic! By the end of the call, and only after I had switched off my phone, did it hit me that he had actually obtained all my information and basically I was already a signed customer!! The next day, I received an e-mail confirming same and immediately spoke with the call-centre to tell them that I did not want the policy and would they please ensure that a debit order did not go through on my bank account! I received an sms confirmation that my policy had been cancelled on February 28th and received follow-up e-mails from Marc Palmer on March 4th saying that it had already gone through the bank and I should send proof in the form of a bank statement, showing that the Virgin had been paid - which I immediately sent. I then received an e-mail from Tsakane Sombhane saying the matter had been escalated and the relevant department should be in contact with me... I am still waiting and all I want is my money refunded!!!
