As a long time client I had good service in past.
This morning it changed. To get served was a battle of 30min to speak to someone. I could not believe I am at the same company.
My insurance claim was related to burst water pipe in the ceiling and after repeating my policy number and contact numbers I got the answer from Pinky that the claim was now registered and a "consultant" will be in touch. What for I do not know (perhaps a job creation). I am listening to the water dripping from the ceiling. I was also advised that an assessor will be coming today. I asked them what is today? Surely I have to be at home. The answer was again very "friendly" TODAY. I asked to speak to the supervisor and was told (as expected) that she is busy on the line. Reluctantly I left my contact numbers so she can phone me. Four hours later no call from Maria and no consultant or assessor. I called again and was told that the claim is not yet registered! I asked to speak to Maria, but as before she was busy on the line and Pinky was on lunch. I left my numbers again and persisted to call her. She had no message from me and promptly registered my case and got all moving. I lost a day and faith in FNB.
