I had one of the worst experencies with this bank starting the 20th December 2012, I had just flown in from England to spend xmas with the family and had to exchange pounds through forex, was assured the money would be in the account in the next couple of hours, trusting fnb I exchanged all the pounds I had and opted for the bank transfer. It took 4 days for Forex to Authorise the transaction. I had booked a family event that weekend which I was unable to pay for due to FNB's terrible service. The only reason why Forex actually paid was because I had to take the phone from the lady that was helping me and demand my money from them, they were going to close for the xmas period and were telling her "dont worry the money will be in the account tihin the next few hours".
Anyway, I raised a complaint by emailing fnb:

Dont bother using that email address because you will not get a reply, I'd love to provide the full detail of my story here but Hello Peter limits the characters, Oh and the rates on the website are - 1.87% commission charge which is in fine print at the bottom of the page! FYI
