Applied for "switch" of home loan seeing that my business account and my personal account is with FNB. Declined my loan due to affordability although my business is doing the same as it has when I bought my house. My financial position however is now much better as most of my previous debts has been paid off and I no longer have the medical aid of R3200 pm. My bond repayments will only increase by R1500 pm, so even if my financial situation stayed as in previous years, just the savings of my medical aid pm will more than make up for the increase in bond repayments. Saying I can't afford it, is ridiculous. ( Saying my business is running at a loss? It has been for since I bought my house and I have always paid all my account no problem. But once again banking is just not the same anymore, there is no personal touch anymore. Thank you FNB for proving you are no different than any other bank out there... how sad...
