I've applied for customer assist, more than a month ago. Reason for doing so was as a result of my wife being retrenched. I applied for a further loan on our bond account to settle some of my personal debt /- R150k worth with a monthly expense of /- R5k in installments. To my mind a further loan of R150k on our bond would increase the current bond installment by max R1k per month. R1k vs R5k per month how can this be declined due to affordability?

A valuer came and did the evaluation at 1 of our 3 properties, property was valued at R900k. the property was bought for R640k, which means there is equity of about R260k!!
