I have been a customer of the bank since 2006 and currently I am a private banking customer. I have just been to the Fox Street Branch to request for 3 months bank statements which are required by a certain hospital to verify details prior to processing a refund. I indicated to the lady at the reception that my initials on the credit card and the debit card were reversed and gave her my ID to verify. Instead of assisting me with statements she want to sort the initials as well which was very good, but i did not have the time to wait and asked if i could come back when i have time, but she could not let me have the statements and eventually had to leave empty handed.
These initials have been like this for over 5 years and I have done a variety of transactions with the bank with no problem at all and i consider myself a customer of the bank. I asked what the real problem was and was to told they needed to verify and correct the names. i was very annoyed as i feel the lady and her back office people wasted my time. Why do i have to suffer for the "errror" which i did not make. Nedbank has all my records and should have captured thier things correctly
