I have been frustrated with Nedbank and the bank charges for the past five months.
The first incident has been with my debit orders that went off on the 2nd of Jan, when I noticed there were insufficient funds I immediately transferred money into my bank account. However the next day the debit order was reversed and I had to explain this to my creditors. NOT SO SAVVY NEDBANK!!!
Plus I was charged the R90 for insufficient funds. When I complained to the bank, the response was "It is the system, we cannot do anything about it.
The next incident is a debit order that I wanted to stop. I took the effort to go to the bank and pay R40 stop order fee and according to the inquiries consultant this order will be stopped as the amount is fixed and it will not be charged again. Guess what! It was charged to my account and I am absolutely disgusted with the service.
I am off to the bank to close this account today!
