In August 2012, I logged a claim on my home insurance. My ceiling was starting to get loose. Being that my ceilings are very high if it fell it would damage my furniture in lounge and dining room. The first assessor arrived saw and left. The second assessor came saw and left. I contacted the client service on a number of occasions to be told that the person handling the account will call back. Then I was told that there was a high increase in claims due to the heavy rains and someone will call me with feedback. - 6 months later I get a call from SA Home Loans to be told that after all this time it was concluded that the house was built on poor workmanship and that the claim will not be process. Now I must urgently get a contractor to fix up the ceiling as it looks like it will give at any time. For me it is unacceptable that after such a long time of no communication from SA Home Loan that they just phone and say: Sorry your claim will not be covered due to bad workmanship" Now I must urgently fix it. I need to know where is the customer service. If I was given some feedback I could have start making arrangements and start saving for someone to come and fix the ceiling. It would
