Claim number 1019102: I logged a claim 2 weeks ago because it was raining so heavily and water leaked through the roof and damaged my ceiling. I called SA Home loans insurance and they arranged a contractor to check it out. After that its been 2 weeks since SA Home Loans called me to update me and I called them twice and they had no feedback. I called today and the agent told me the claim was denied because of defective workmanship. The contractor told me himself that the wind lifted the sheets and its natural damage. I asked them to prove it and they refused and they also refuse to send out another contractor for a 2nd opionion. Worse of all is that the lady assigned to my claim (Nicolette Knock) is yet to call me and I had to call to get feedback. This is the worse client service I received from SA Home loans and i will definately take it further to the Insurance regulator.
