PLEASE NOTE THIS IS THE SECOND REPORT TO IZWE LOANS BUT STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED FEEDBACK FOR THE FIRST REPORT.I took a loan of R6000 from Izwe Loans in 2007 I paid the instalment of R893 for plus minus 6 months. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I didn't finish paying off the loan and was handed over to attorneys (Gerhard van der Merwe). They ended up getting a garnishee order and it was sent to work. I almost had a heart attack when I received that garnishee order of R34065.78! How on earth could I be owing an amount of R34065.78 for a loan of R6000? Izwe Loans refused to give a statement, told me they don't have records anymore. It is my right as a consumer to get a statement of what I'm being charged for. They ripped me off I still want answers about this. I want a full breakdown of that loan repayments and an explanation of how could R6000 loan balloon up to R34065.78. They have been deduction R800 as from 2008 from my salary and i have already paid R30400 to my surprise yesterday they sent another garnishee to my work stating that am still owing them R3665.78 I will be taking this matter further to the Ombudsman and expose Izwe Loans for their unscrupulous behaviou
