You just love taking money from people, don't you?

I had one of my debit orders debited twice from my account without my authorisation on the 27th of February 2013. I work in Braamfontein and had no idea the FNB branch there was being renovated as I do most of my transactions via online banking, so I turned back at the door and could not reverse the debit order on the 27th as by the time I get to another branch it would have been past closing time. I took my time and not-so-cheap fuel to visit the branch at Woodbridge Shopping Centre the morning of the 28th before I got to work. Late as I was for my meeting, I waited in the queue. I filled out documents for the reversal of the amount debited without my authorisation and I was promised it would be done by 16:00 that day as I had explained the situation and the urgency in reversing the payment. To my surprise, the reversal was never done. I wake up to my payments returned and charges incurred, of which the reversed amount would have covered those payments. When I'm finally getting to a point when I can maintain my account in good standing, FNB takes me steps back. And you ask how can you help me? I'm now done with this bank. June will find me at Standard Bank. I'm beyond now!!
