African Bank
DEBIT ORDER DATES

I have a loan with African bank. They are deducting their debit orders from my account on dates that have not been contractually agreed upon. They deducted twice from my account this month on the 20th and again on the 28th. They sent me a text stating that they were going to run their debit orders on the 27th (7 days after their last deduction). I called them and informed them that I get paid on the last working day of the month and that is what we contractually agreed upon. The collections department said that they would ensure that the debit order goes off on the 30th, but it went off on the 28th. Luckily there was money in my account on both occasions, should there not have been they would have incurred bank charges on my behalf as well as a bad name, This has happened before and my bank reversed the debit orders, however, this time the bank would not as apparently there is a new law that states that they are not allowed to reverse debit orders from any financial institutions. The banks are bullies and I find this all very frustrating. All I want is for the bank to stick to what we signed for on our agreement and make good any damages they could cause in future.
