On 15th February, our house was struck by lightning, damaging our gate motor, energiser, keypad, intercom and light. I phoned ABSA on the morning of the 16th Feb to inform them to be told I can only log a claim on Monday, which I did. I stressed the urgency of the matter as we have no working gate motor. Every day I phone in, to be told they cant give me feedback and someone will call me back. NOBODY has ever called me back. I am so desperate, it has not been two weeks and nothing is happening??? This is a valid claim, so ABSA needs to make good on it. I will not be initiating processes to move my home loan away from ABSA as I have no faith in this institutions ability to honour a valid claim
