No Feedback on Claim

Claim refuted on nothing but a thumb. Sometime during Feb to May 2012 the Septic Tank Motor at my house was damaged as result of lightning damage and no longer functioned (unbeknown to me). I only became aware of a problem when the Tank got to overflow and on advice had the Tank drained and flushed (8/6/2012) and by 1 August it was full again when I called in FAB Engineers that confirmed the motor was damaged and replaced it against my submitted claim. Annetjie de Beer of ABSA thereafter informed me that the claim was refuted on the grounds there was NO LIGHTNING on the "day" the damage supposedly happened. To this day neither ABSA nor the so-called assessor could confirm on which date the actual damaged occurred? How can you discard a claim on grounds of a "specific date" that nobody, except the ABSA Assessor determines but refuses to make public. ABSA now does not even have the courtesy to reply to my numerous communications. I feel abused and hurt by my ABSA insurers to the point of wondering if I am actually insured. The same complaint was raised with ABSA telecon Market Researchers in December 2012 with a promise of "we'll definitely get back to you", I am still waiting.
