Very very very poor service

I submitted a damage claim for the motorgate, camera etc that was struck by lightning. I was immediately helped and noted I could use my own service provider to fix the gate motor and cameras etc, since it was regarded an emergency that it affects our safety. My service provider fixed the gate, camera, screen, beams that was faulty. After the service was delivered I had to pay my service provider rounded up R15 000. We struggled for about a week to get an assessor to assess the situation to get the claim approved and paid out. Eventually the assessor was sent to assess the damage and he finalised the matter and sent it back to ABSA on 25 November 2013. I have been trying the past 3 days, Thursday, Friday and today, Monday 9 December 2013 to get hold of someone at ABSA insurance on number 012 442 0100 iro my claim of more than a month ago. If I phone before 8:00 I get a voice saying that office hours is at 08:00 and if I phone at 08:00 I get put on hold for hours. I have two read receipts on an email where I ask for feedback and still to today nobody has come back to me to just at least give feedback. Horrific service. The number I am phoning is 012 442 0100
