Between Christmas and new year 2012 I tried to close my account at Nedbank. This proved impossible because the "person" who does this is on leave. I then owed on the overdraft approx R2000.00. In February I get an SMS to sya a deposit of R1460 has been paid into my account therefore I would then owe approx R600. On the 27 Feb I go to Siemert Rd again to close the account and am told I owe R2000. The statement does not reflect the R1460 deposit. I am then told that this was an "attempted" deposit because the account is closed. I ask for an email to this effect so that I may recover the R1460 from my client. The response is "I can't help you". Simple question Nedbank do you want your money or not? I no longer care. I would have thought Nedbank would be more than happy for me to settle but this does not appear so.
