In my understanding, when ever you purchase or withdraw money from your bank account, the bank reserves or deducts the money from my account. I received my salary last night and all of a sudden FNB had R1711.18 deductions for me and another R653 they waiting to deduct! I went to the fourways jhb branch to enquire, the FNB consultants and his manager couldnt even explain to me these charges. They made phone callsto try assist and they did not get the answers. I was told to return again after the deductions! Also, i made arrangements to pay for my ipad with them every 25th of each month and because FNB saw money in my accout, they decided to dedduct on the 23rd. Again, i was told they dont know why it was deducted on the 23rd when you only have an option to pay on the 1st, 10th and 25th! when the did FNB come up with FNB.Check your charges that FNB you, some of them tney cannot explain them. I am disgusted by a bank i trusted and it keeps taking money and blames it on shops that do their banking late yet FNB has taken it from my acciunts.
