Unbelievable and Unheard of. my claim was rejected by Miway today for two reasons. 1. dishonest in that I and said i did not drink or touch alcohol before the accident. 2. driving under the influence of alcohol.
can you believe that no tests were done what so ever, accident report shows that I was not drunk above all that though the claim was reject on balance of probability and statement given by witnesses. am I over reacting here or what. is that not serious allegation or defamation of character? I don't know they know better besides they have done their investigation and help they do have supporting document.
I am waiting to appeal if they give me that opportunity, all I know right now I must pay about R10k to get my car released. okay that I understand but the decision was too harsh and unfair.
Tell me does the assessors get incentivised for every claim rejected or how does it work?
