I was in an accident about over a month ago. I supplied MI WAY with the information needed to process the claim within the 24/48hrs rule. All the needed information was given to them and they sent out their investigators and I had to take them through the days event prior the accident. I had to give them the names of the people that was first on the scene for them to call I guess. Everything was on track and few days before the car hire was to expire they call me and informed me that new information came to light and that I was not forth coming with information, this is now 3weeks after the accident... This new information was from the report from the accident, a report they had all along for them to say its new information. Mi Way denied my claim based on the report that said the officer smelled alcohol on me and the reason the officer did not take me for testing is, that he had to attend to another accident that happened near by. Also they denied the claim because they believe the officer on merit because he is an expert. I am highly disappointed in this decision and I need it to be sorted out.
