I wrote a complaint earlier this month and very conveniently received the Dial Direct computer generated response stating someone would investigate our complaint and provide feedback.
Just a quick recap. First Dial Direct lost our car for over a week after an accident where someone drove into the back of our car. An accident which was not our fault. Then it took the assessor a further 2 weeks before giving the panel beater the go ahead. We finally collected our car today after over a month of battling with Dial Direct. Never received any feedback unless we called.
This was truly an appalling experience and I never ever want to go through this again.
The only thing they managed to do successfully was double my premium and deduct the money a month before I even received my car.
I am in the process of getting quotations from different insurers and will definitely be cancelling my policy shortly.
