Bad service from FNB without personal consultation

I am a business owner of a very healthy business in this difficult times of today. I made an appointment with the manager and took all the approved building plans with me to discuss my proposal for expanding my business with the manager. She agree that a extra bond on my personal home loan would be the best due to the low interest rate. after completing all the documents we had to constantly followed up and every time were told that they need more documentation. finally we were told that it was turned down due to a to low income. My question however is the following.was all the information regarding this loan explained to the persons that make the final decisions. do they know that the loan was to expand my current business that will guarantee a income double to the amount payable to FNB .Do they know that my vehicle, vehicle insurance, traveling expense, phone, and a lot more other financial liabilities were covered by the business and there for I do not need a huge salary. To my knowlidge it is the right practice to rather grow the business as we did till today instead of using the money for personal gain on a huge salary.just a No was offered from FNB without any furher proposals
