My mortgage account via my Trust account got frozen without notice, so I can not do any transfer's on it. My private bank manager took care of the matter, asked for documents that were duly supplied on Tuesday 12 of February. I was told by her assistant yesterday that all cleared and account operational yet on logging in just a few minutes ago account still blocked. Standard bank never advised that a new set of documents were required (or explained why!!!) never made any contact with me or via my Private Bank manager - their attitude is clearly of arrogance and disregard for Customer care / service. Even my bank manager is struggling to get a clear response from Home Loans so I blame the Chief executive for not ensuring proper proper training of their staff. Their attitude (home loans) seems to be " to with Customer " as I repeat not once have they made any direct contact to explain / apology for situation they created and still not resolved. Absolutely disgusted with Standard bank, Home Loans Division attitude. They certainly need you to train them in Customer service...
