I have an Access Bond with Standard Bank Home Loans. Of late, I have not been able to transfer funds as required. It has taken a few days to establish that a STOP was placed on the facility because the property was last assessed in 2007. Here is where Standard Bank home Loans have faltered:
1. Despite having my contact details, they have stopped a facility without any communication to the client.
2. Should they require an assessment, then they should action that requirement. To date, no arrangement for an assessment has been made.
3. A perfect service standard would be to action the assessment before the STOP becomes necessary, in order to deliver a seamless service to the customer.
