We had a problem for quite a while seeing that I was unemployed so could meet the obligations of paying my wife's credit card! Now that I finally started working and willing to start paying, and settle the debt, ABSA's attorneys, Norlam Attorneys wants us to pay R4418 per month for 3 months to qualify for a 20% discount. Thats not fair!! We have a loan with another bank and the gave us a 50% discount, and we can pay them back over 5 years!!!
Where do ABSA come with that! Cant they understand, that we have other obligations as well to meet, but are also willing to settle this account.
