I am utterly disgusted and disappointed at the recent cover sheet that I have received.
Firstly, there is no reference to previous excess or premium levels so one has nothing to compare the updated versions to?
The information is also presented in a misleading fashion and the last page contains so much information that is hidden away,
Clauses like " Cover is conditional upon the inspection of my vehicle (s) where required.
I am aware that the premium will be collected on the agreed commencement date irrespective of whether
confirmation of inspection has been received by MiWay. It is my responsibility to ensure the vehicle gets inspected.
I will have no cover until my vehicle has been inspected. MiWay may use its discretion in waiving this requirement in
cases where at the time of loss the existence and condition of the vehicle can be verified."
This should me made bold and people should be made aware of this!
It seems as though MiWay is finding sneaky ways to repudiate claims in the future!
I have been paying premiums for the last 2 years and to see a clause of this nature makes me very worried!
