A simple request is simply too much

Due to me relocating to another city and current business requirements I am unable to make it to an ABSA branch to change my mobile number registered under my bank account.

Due to this, I am now unable to access online banking to make neccesary payments - I was informed that there is no other possibility of changing my number unless I physically got to a branch.

Funnily enough through I receive the notify me on the correct number...
I dealt via email with Shaunese Booysens at RVN forensics - my initial email was responded to in a cold manner and I had to prompt for suggestions or alternative options. She was unfriendly and unhelpful. She also informed me that they will be able to make an exception for clients travelling abroad only.

I am only able to access a bank next week Wednesday and have now had to delay my items being moved and the payment of my accounts.

The entire process is inflexible and inconvenient to say the least.

Feedback and assistance in having this resolved will be greatly appreciated.
