I opened an flexi fix deposit account and realised that the interest rate was too low, then after maturity I asked Dudu Mutle to re-invest the same money to Fixed deposit, she only noted down that the account has to be changed but did not change it, when I went back to claim she then told me she is sorry to close the account incorrectly if i invest again she will do it right this time. The Fact is I lost out on the rate which could have been (R900) and only got (R189) for a 3 months investment. I asked if the manager could then fix the account so that I get what I deserve I was told nothing can be done unless if I re-invest meaning I should wait another 3 months due to Dudu's incompetence and that wasn't even gonna compensate me. If a junior staff makes a mistake a manager has to be able to fix it and FNB Evaton Plaza manager seems not have such authority. I really thought I could bank with FNB but with such a service any1 should consider investing with other banks.
