Insurance Claim Flexibility

In October last year I was the proud new owner of a Samsung Galaxy SIII. I went to an MTN store to get insurance and was duped and misled into buying a CallSure insurance policy, as well as given wrongful information and a resulting false sense of security. Needless to say my precious new phone was lost in late November which is when I discovered the the sales agent fed me and that I was actually liable for a 50% excess which I could not afford.

After submitting my version of events and mitigating circumstances, CallSure escalated my query to Hollard, and even though initially rejecting my request for leniency, they just got back to me today to advise me the standard claim amount of 10% (just under R800) is now applicable. I am extremely impressed and relieved about this and definitely feel they should be commended for this - THANK YOU!
