Unsolicited calls. Won't explain how got numbe

I received a phone call today from Momentum, asking me to buy long term insurance and asking me whether I have life insurance. I am not a client. When I asked how they got my number the caller told me she gets a list to call every day. I asked who gives her the list and she said I could speak to her supervisor. She spoke to her boss and I heard them say my name. After some phone music they simply cut me off, no doubt deliberately.
They never called me back.
I called the incoming number on my cell phone but it's not a number that can receive calls. I called the long term insurance contact number (ShareCall 0860 66 54 32) from their website but it is not answered.
It is not acceptable to cold call people anymore. You're supposed to have consent before you market financial products to people and allow them the chance to opt out of such communications.
Momentum is also not complying with the principles in the PPI bill.
They knew my name and number. I am not a client. Why do they have my details? Are they storing them securely? What other information do they possess about me? How did they acquire it? Who have they given it to? This is not acceptable conduct for a financial institution.
