Inconsitencies in feedback re-loan application

I applied for a loan after having received numerous letters which indicated I qualified for a loan based on my previous business with Wesbank. Subsequently I was requested to send documents, every time I send a document, I will be asked to send another one. After approval I was asked to take Protection plan with Wesbank, I indicated that I have a policy that can cover that, I faxed the policy document, then I was told it does not cover Terminal diseases, I then faxed through a policy document which covered: Death, Disability and Terminal illnesses, now that document SEEMED not to have been received, but my fax report showed transmission was okay.
I got two smses on the 7th February, 14h06 and 15h30, which said loan has been approved, I should read the Pre agreement statement and call after 021 7643487, when I called then I was told the policy document does not cover Retirement, which was not indicated before... now I have lost hope in the whole process, because I have been talking to different people and given different information, I don't know which policy is actually needed and if there is a document which explains fully... The loan has been approved but it's been held back.
