Nedbank
Took money off five months later after purchase

I wanted to close my Savings account with Nedbank as I have recently opened a cheque account with them and have no need for both. I phoned them and they said that I have -R32.16. I haven't used my account for 5 months and they said that these were administration fees and e-note fees and etc. Then when I got to the Nedbank branch in Cresta, as they said that I can only close my account if I personally go there, the person at the counter tells me that I now owe them R250. At first they cannot tell me how that is possible since I actually reported my card five months ago and haven't used it since.
Consultant tells me that I have to pay the account before closing it otherwise they will not stop billing me for the admin fees. I told her I want to open a case and she proceeded to tell me that it will take 8 weeks and in all that time they will not stop charging me admin fees. I asked to speak to the manager and after we finally found out where those charges came it became apparent that Kauai decided to take my money five months after I have eaten there!! 1st - how can Nedbank give away money I do not have? 2nd - POS should be deducted 2 days after purchase is made!
