Incorrect premium being deducted

Essential Med finally managed to forward me a welcome pack and to deduct the monthly premium off of my account after I first posted a complaint about the poor service on this website.

The only problem is that they are now deducting my account with the incorrect premium. I sent two e-mails enquiring about the wrong deduction being debited from my account and to date I still await a response. I called the call centre yesterday and I was then told I need to obtain bank statements to prove the incorrect amount is being deducted which now means it is going to cost me in time and money to obtain the necessary statements. I was also informed that they offer an additional child protection plan and that some clients have been incorrectly debited for this.

Essential Med seems chronically confused and incapable of handling administration. You will be billed for services you have not even requested and then the onus is on the client to correct the problem.
