On 30 February Sanlam deducted my premium of R 318.30 on 1 March they deducted again R 318.30 On 1 April they deducted R 4954.90. I asked why they said to me according to their records February premium did not go through, no one of Sanlam advised me or broker to say my premium did not went through. I've amended my policy in February with them so the broker said to me the new premium of R 2318.30 will go off on 1 March, which not happened only normal premium went off. When i phoned they tell me 30 January's premium was for January and February 's did not go through and 1 March premium was the new premium that went through. Which is also incorrect because the new premium is suppose to be R2318.30 and only R318.30 was deducted. They said they deducted double premium as well as February's arrears premium, which does not make sense because if the premium is deducted in arrears then they were suppose to deduct on 1 April only R 2318.30 for March. According to my bank statement my premium for 1 March went through therefore my February premium was not in arrears. No one communicated anything to me, they just went ahead and deduct wrongly while it is there financial fault.
