First National Bank
Supposed Grace periods

I made an arrangement with my Home Loan to double debit next month, as this month I won't be able to pay them, as I didn't receive the expected Salary for the month. FNB is so stupid, when the debit order launched on the expected date, there was a shortage of -R444.00. Instead of the home loan going unpaid, FNB went and paid the difference. And every other debit order that was launched after this, went unpaid. When I went to my branch, they explained to me that this was because of Grace. Who asked for this grace? If the home loan went unpaid, currently I would have only one unpaid and not 5 unpaids, and now they are charging me R138 for each of the unpaids that was caused by their so called Grace. Shut the front door FNB, what the fudge? And now my account is sitting on a - R1000 something because of their grace. Why don't banks communicate this to us, Hello!!! Am suppose to pay the 5x unpaids R138 the -R 444. Whose fault is this?
