I applied for a home loan with FNB this week & It was declined due to unpaid debit order in my account. This is after I applied for a home loan earlier this month which was APPROVED but we could not proceed because the property I was interested in did not fall within their policy. In other words they did not see value with the property. I'm off because of lack of consistency with FNB Home Loans. Even after I explained the reasons for the unpaid debit order which was due to salary change. If the unpaid debit order was an issue they should not have approved me in the first application. I pay lot of money to FNB and if this is how I'll be treated then I rather bank with someone else. To make it worse I've been trying without any luck to speak to a seniour person within FNB Home Loans to argue my case & no luck
