ATM CASH DEPOSIT

On Sat 01/02/2014, I tried to deposit cash at Arcadia Standard Bank ATM, the ATM rejected my notes but instead of returning all my notes back it withheld about /- R250. I then managed to deposit the notes that were returned on another ATM. Since this was after hours I was of the opinion that on monday when the ATM people attend to the machine they would pick up the error and resolve this without me having to make a follow up. But nothing happened, I then called the call center and I was asked to send a secure message to my branch for them to investigate, which I did on monday. tuesday no response, i even sent an email on their website, then I called the call center again and no help, only to have the agent drop the phone on me. Then a certain gentleman called me promising to resolve my query on Tuesday, but up to now no feedback.

I have had a similar situation with FNB and this was resolved within 24 hrs and I got all my money back.

My question is why is taking so long for these people to respond to my query, and from what I realised no one wants to take full responsibility. How can you find extra unaccounted for money and just keep it, thats.
