Callcentre beyond Pathetic

So far I have still not received a callback. Absa's callcentre customer service etiquette is totally out the window. Last week Thursday they contacted me to confirm that my issue is being dealt with yet im still waiting. The conversation I had was that seeing that they moved over to the new Chip cards and have been experiencing issues with the card and will get it rectified. So far it has not been rectified and as well ABSA cant explain why I would be missing R1000 from my account. I was then informed the next day that the individual that would be handling the issue was ill and Absa would still be contacting me once they have a resolution and have not forgotten about me. Well its been 3 days excluding sunday and still no answer. How can I trust a bank with my money that makes false promises and gives bad service. This is pathetic. Next step Ombitsman as well as changing bank. This has got to end.
