I registered at ABSA to get an SMS when any transaction is done from or to my tjek account
It was working fine for about three months. But last month my account balance showed /-R5000.00 more than it should be. Thought it would be rectified after next transaction. It was not.
Went to Montana ABSA branch to find out what is the right balance of my account. The bank said there is a problem with the sms system. It is still not fixed. So I call 0860008600, They say they don't know when it will be rectified. I am paying 50c per sms that shows the wrong account balance.
Is this how ABSA bank makes their money?
