Irrelevant security Questions

I wanted to change the contract details of my daughter's Cell phone to enable her to use the SIM for BlackBerry Services. When I phone the call centre I was asked questions about products that I don't have in my portfolio and then denied service because I could not answer the questions that was directed at me.

I DO NOT have an ABSA Credit Card yet I was asked for the balance thereof
I DO NOT have a Cell C account yet I was asked for the balance thereof
The only question I could Answer was the last three digits of my ID and my work telephone number.

I escalated to management but they could not resolve my issues satisfactorily.

In both instances, the attitude I was greeted with was not that of someone delivering a service, but rather someone that was doing me a favour.

I will NOT recommend this service to anyone, and will under no circumstances renew any contract that I have with them.

Vodacom should sever any connection they have with this supplier as dealing with them leaves a bad taste in your mouth
