I have been a loyal customer for 21 years. On the 25th January 2014 Standard Bank ATM at Blairgowrie Plaza shut down when trying to withdraw money. I then went to the Nedbank ATM at the same centre, withdrew R3000, 00 only to be told that the transaction was declined. I then tried again withdrawing R1500.00 which was processed. I then got notification from my cell phone that the R3000.00 was taken out my account. I reported this to Standard Bank on the 27th January 2014. I have made numerouse phone calls to Standard Bank and have been told I will have to wait a period of 12 to 15 days for them to sort out the transaction. I cannot understand why I have to be the one to wait for My money, as it was the banks fault and not mine. I am now affected and at a loss of R3000.00. You can never be speak to a Manager as they are always in "meetings" I have been promised that someone will call me
back and up until now no one has called me. I am really angry about the whole affair, and the tone of the bank's communication.
