My accounts were debited on the 24th January 2014 (as like any other months), however on the 26 and 27 the same accounts were debited again. I then notified the bank on the 26th and 27th of this discrepancy as i did not authorise any double deduction to initiated on my accounts. I am aware that my accounts are in arrears and i would expect an agent to call with a concern and try to come up with a plan to pay, but this did not happen.
I was told to submit a bank statement and copy of ID to facilitate a speedy refund process, however to date i am still waiting. I have been in contact with the bank since the 26th and to date 03rd, nothing has been done. I keep on receiving the same response "I am sending your response to the refund department, please call tomorrow". I am really tired of calling, all i need is my money because i was highly inconvenienced and failed to meet other financial commitments. I have no guarantee whether the double deduction will or not occur this month as no reason (that caused the double deduction was given to me.
