During 2008 I became unemployed and were not in a position to pay for my Personal Loan I had with Nedbank.(LOAN REF: 8000322606001On 9 August 2008 a collection agent came to my place and told me that if I could pay only R300 on the account it would be okay. Not knowing the documents that I signed for was also for Consent for the Emolument order. Then when I got a job in December 2008 I started with debt review I began paying the R300 and then in December 2009 I was garnish for an amount of R 665.85.No affordability assessment done to determent if I could afford the amount. Attorneys for NEDBANK: SMITH-SMITH, Tel: 011 975 8104Judgement for the amount of R 22 085.07 WAS GRANTED. Total debt to be loaded for repayment R 50 672.69. More than halve the amount I have to repay now. Its been a struggle ever since as I cannot obtain any credit to try and start afresh or even try to get a bond to provide my small children with a place called home. A Small guy like me was given a LIFE SENTENCE never to be part of the economic community again. My request to Nedbank please help to get my life back by looking assessing my payments and or recalculating for some discount or write off.
