I received a phone call this morning from Nedbank's credit card division in regards to the payment on my credit card being overdue. The lady who called me asked me to confirm certain details before being allowed to communicate to me why she was calling. Her exact words were "Please confirm your details there.". I asked her what details she was referring to and all she said was "If you don't feel comfortable discussung your details you can go into the bank". She eventually hung up the phone as I still could not understand what details she was referring to. This does not make any sense to me. Usually they are specific about the details that they require and this phone call was a bit odd to me as I still don't know what "details there" is referring to! I did make more than the minimum required payment to my credit card after the phone call. Please confirm it went through as the statement only says Movements Due. The amount is R3000.
