Due to unforeseen circumstances (I had lost my job), I unfortunately fell behind with my Direct Axis personal loan account payments. The treatment I have received from their collections department has been shocking, I have been made to feel like a common criminal, instead of a real person with a real problem. if a client is in arrears, it apparently gives the collections staff the right to treat them like dirt. I am extremely upset, after having looked at my statement, and seen that these rude and obnoxious agents are receiving commission payments, and that the cost is debited to MY LOAN ACCOUNT??? ASIDE FROM THAT I AM BEING CHARGED EXHORBITANT "ARREARS INTEREST" OVER AND ABOVE THIS??? This is UNACCEPTABLE. Please reverse the "collector commission" charges from my loan account with immediate effect, or I will take this up with the banking ombud, as well as the consumer protector.
