Absolutely disgusted in receiving a letter conveniently from Standard Bank indicating that they will now be charging me an extra R25 a month for having a credit card. So now I am charged interest on any amount owing on the credit card & a further R25 for having a credit card. They have even gone to the extent of just deducting the amount out of my cheque account without any authorisation from me. Who gives them the right to do as they please with my money. Due to this, I am now looking at switching my bank completely. Being a loyal customer for so many years, I now have to look at another bank to handle my finances as STD Bank does not appreciate it's loyal customers. Their only objective is to make money, at the expense of its customers.
