Friday, 27th December I accessed my bank account, suprised money was R4000 short. Immediately I went to one of the branch in Kuruman, Northern Cape, findings, there were 2 transactions of Instant Money that took place on my cheque account on the evening of the 26th December 2013 between 18:30 - 20:45 while I was at home. I never access my account on the 26th Dec 2013 at all, never shared even a pin. I received no notification the day this happened or a day later. The R2000 went to the one cellphone no. and the other R2000 went to other cellphone which both I do not know. No SMS notification, even OTP was not sent to me to authorize these 2 transactions. Question, If these Instant Money transactions was done at the ATM level, why is there no notification sent to me like it does when I withdraw money? I could have used my cell phone to call immediately to stop these. I need answers. The 10 days waiting period has pass still I do not have any feedback/follow-up call on this case. I called Standard Bank Line on 27th and 28th January 2014 and I just stayed on the queue for 10 minutes with no luck, even today. What do I need to do to get my money back from Standard Bank?
