I accidentally withdrew cash from a Standard Bank ATM using my credit card (the credit and debit card looks the same) instead of my debit card. I was charged R17. I then made a payment via my credit card for R7000 and was charged R25 for bank charges and another R25.33 for finance charges. I paid for the transaction within 8 days. Most banks have a policy that 55 days are interest free when using your credit card. What a rip off Standard Bank!
