Not making things happen

Nedbank has proven time and time again to be a bank reluctant or in most cases not concerned in their efforts to care for the smaller clients. I have had many encounters with the bank, and each and every time, after much effort from my side and no results, they ensure me it will never happen again.

I have been to Nedbank Randburg (corner Kent Ave and Republic) to apply for a overdraft facility. I completed the application with a employee by the name of Patricia, after a week I was contacted by her and she advised that I have been approved.. All well and good, after a week of waiting I decided to call the branch. I was told that Patricia no longer works there and I was in the 'caring hands' of Richard. I went in, completed the forms. Richard explained that it would take a few hours to clear as I told him that I really needed the cash in my account asap. I checked my account that evening and nothing. After another day, I called Richard back to enquire, he said his going to do it instantly. After a week nothing, spoke to the team leader, rose, she promised to call back in 15 min, long story short, no response, no funds. Done in true nedbank style. Time to change banks i guess.
